Finest quality 9/10 oz. or 3.6mm weight handcrafted belts up to size 54″ and 1″- 1-1/4″ widths with 20th century hand dyed colors. All bridle butts are traditionally pit-tanned and hand curried to ensure that the fibers are strong and the leather is smooth. Bridle Butts are the most labor intensive English product that J & E Sedgwick produce. The Master Currier has to ensure that the leather is as free of growth as possible, whilst maintaining the quality of the grain and the strength and visual appeal of a Bridle butt.
