Our authentic, traditional J&E Sedgwick English Bridle Leather casual belts are Artisan bench crafted from traditional full grain 9/10 oz. or 3.7mm weight English leather, simply the best full grain vegetable tanned belt leather with a semi-aniline and greased grain to give a superb finish. Fine quality 9/10 oz. weight handcrafted belts up to size 54″ in 1-3/8″, to 2″ width featuring 20th century hand dyed colors. All bridle butts are traditionally pit-tanned and hand curried to ensure that the fibers are strong and the leather is smooth. Bridle Butts are the most labor intensive English product that J & E Sedgwick produce. The Master Currier has to ensure that the leather is as free of growth as possible, whilst maintaining the quality of the grain and the strength and visual appeal of a Bridle butt.
